We are looking for a General Assistant for a minimum 6-month or 1-year contract or, indeed, a permanent contract. We offer a maximum 45-hour week, two days off back-to-back and 28 days paid holiday p.a. (or pro rata), with accommodation available if needed. The position involves both housekeeping and restaurant work. A typical day would be an 8.00am start helping to serve breakfast, then housekeeping from 10.00am until 4pm (with a half-hour lunch break, free food provided). Or a 10.00am start in housekeeping until 4pm, returning for an evening restaurant shift. We pay well and you will also get a full share of the tips. Our ethos is quite simply to use high quality, seasonal produce in order to make decent, honest food, both British and authentic Italian. Being a hotel we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
