3-NIGHT CHRISTMAS PACKAGE 2013

Thanks to our many returning guests we are already nearly full for Christmas. Perhaps it is because a genuine spirit of hospitality prevails at the Crown and Castle, with Ruth’s home-made Christmas cake, pudding and mincemeat, a side table replete with tangerines, chocolates, nuts, stollen and other goodies – and, of course, an open log fire.

Christmas Eve – Tuesday, 24th December
On arrival, something lovely from Artisan du Chocolat and a box of biscuits in your room
Hot mince pies and tea
Pre-prandial Bellini cocktail and a 3-course a la carte dinner to include coffee
Carols in the square or midnight mass in our beautiful church

 Christmas Day – Wednesday, 25th December
A very nice present from Santa
Continental breakfast
A four-course Christmas lunch* with a choice that includes free-range Suffolk turkey and all the trimmings
A  light supper

Boxing Day – Thursday, 26th December
A snazzy brunch served from 9.15 – 11.00am
Afternoon tea with home-made Christmas cake, panettone, savoury straws and madeira
3-course a la carte dinner to include coffee

 Friday, 27th December
Full English breakfast and a misty-eyed departure

* If you would like to add Monday, 23rd December to the package, we are offering rooms at a very generous discount – please ask us. * Please note the Christmas lunch menu cannot be altered to accommodate special dietary needs. To book the package, a £250 non-refundable deposit is required, with the balance of the package payable by 31 October 2013. We apply a discretionary £120 service charge to each final account, which is shared equally among every single member of staff.

3-NIGHT NEW YEAR’S EVE PACKAGE 2013
For good food and wine, as well as a good knees-up – oh, and a good bed, of course – the Crown and Castle is the place to be at this time of year.

Tuesday, 31st December 2013, New Year’s Eve
On arrival, tea and dark chocolate cake
Prosecco and canapés in the bar
An excellent 5-course dinner* with coffee and chocolates
Table entertainment
Dancing to new and old music until 2.00am

Wednesday, 1st January 2014, New Year’s Day
A snazzy brunch served between 9.00 and 11.30am
Tea or a glass of bubbly with smoked salmon sandwiches and home-made cake
A 3-course a la carte dinner with coffee

Thursday, 2nd January 2014
Full English breakfast
A 3-course a la carte dinner to include coffee

If you would like to add Monday, 30th December to enjoy a real build-up to the night, we are offering rooms at a £60 discount on the normal rate. *Please note the NYE dinner menu cannot be altered to accommodate special dietary needs. To book the package, a £250 non-refundable deposit is required, with the balance of the package payable by 31 October 2013. We also apply a discretionary £120 service charge to each final account: this goes to the staff in its entirety and is divided equally among them all, seen or unseen.
