Christmas 2015 – nearly full!

A genuine spirit of hospitality prevails at the Crown and Castle, with Ruth’s home-made Christmas cake, pudding and hot mince pies, a side table replete with tangerines, chocolates, stollen and other goodies – and, of course, an open log fire. We always give first dibs for our 3-night Christmas package to guests who stayed the year before. Most book again, which is lovely, but it does mean we have very little to offer new guests. So don’t hesitate if you are thinking about booking as we’re still in March and only have 2 rooms left! The package includes:

♦  On arrival on Christmas Eve – Thursday, 24th December – some wonderful artisanal chocolates and a box of biscuits in your room * hot mince pies and tea * pre-prandial Bellini cocktail * three-course a la carte dinner to include coffee * a comfortable bed

♦  On Christmas Day – Friday, 25th December – a jolly nice present from Santa * continental breakfast * a four-course Christmas lunch  with a choice that includes free-range Suffolk turkey and all the trimmings * a light supper

♦  On Boxing Day – Saturday, 26th December – Buck’s Fizz breakfast * afternoon tea with home-made Christmas cake, panettone, savoury straws and madeira * a three course a la carte dinner to include coffee

♦  On Sunday, 27th December – full English breakfast * a misty-eyed departure

The rate for the package above, per couple occupying the room is:

Best House double £1,575
Best Garden double (not dog friendly) £1,450

Small print: if you would like to add Wednesday, 23rd December to the package, we are offering rooms at a very generous discount. However, Sunday, 27th December is part of the 2-night Festive Flop package and cannot be sold separately. A non-refundable £250 deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance of the package payable by 31 October 2015. A £130 service charge will be applied to each final account – this is shared equally among all members of staff, seen or unseen.  Please note the Christmas lunch menu cannot be altered to accommodate special dietary needs.
