Our 3-night Christmas package is full but there is still availability for New Year’s Eve – please see details.
We are full for Christmas lunch (except to resident guests and for New Year’s Eve dinner). However, we are open for Boxing Day brunch and New Year’s Day brunch and have some spaces, menus are available to see below.
Our 2-night Festive Flop package is available on 27th/28th December and 29th/30th December.
If you fancy a pre-Christmas treat we will be in festive mode from Thursday, 15th December 2016, slightly earlier than usual. The reindeer are going on holiday so a tree will be up in their corner instead and, as usual, everything from staircases and mantelpieces to window sills and tables will be festooned with tasteful decorations. We will be offering a gently festive 1-night package nearer the time.

As ever, the 2-night package includes a 3-course a la carte dinner each night, with free choice of dishes, and full English breakfast each morning.
And, to take home, we are offering our usual present of a whole side of Pinney’s oak-smoked salmon, two lemons, a Pump Street Bakery voucher for a sourdough loaf, and a bottle of our very nice house soave – all designed to help solve the NYE catering problems if you’re having friends or family over for the occasion.
2-night tariff per couple per room
Good House 470
Better House, Garden & Courtyard 550
Best House & Terrace 650
We are open on Boxing Day and on New Year’s Day for brunch. First orders are at midday and last orders at 1.30pm. Please find the menus below although they might be subject to the odd change if necessary.
We ask for 20.00 per head deposit which is non-refundable unless we have 7 days notice of cancellation, part-cancellation or a drop in numbers. Obviously for guests who arrived as booked, we credit this amount against the final tab. We are sorry we have to ask for this but there is a tendency for out-of-towners to make speculative bookings and it’s very galling turning away regular guests only to find we could have accommodated them after all!
